Network Specialist__Switzerland

Description

BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a (Dispatch | On-site) "Network Specialist" in Switzerland .

Responsibilities

• ➡️ Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• ➡️ Install and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• ➡️ Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• ➡️ Configure VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NAT, and routing protocols.
• ➡️ Support firewall policies, VPN connectivity, and network security best practices.
• ➡️ Perform firmware updates, configuration backups, and preventive maintenance.
• ➡️ Respond to service desk tickets while ensuring SLA compliance.
• ➡️ Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• ➡️ Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
• ➡️ Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• ➡️ Work closely with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure network reliability.

Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
2. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, or similar networking equipment.
3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer-focused environment.
4. Valid swiss permit to work in Switzerland
5. Local language (German) & English fluency
