Network Installation Specialist _ Switzerland

Description

BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a ( Dispatch | on-site) "Network Installation Specialist" in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• ➡️ Unmount existing wireless access points and install new ones.
• ➡️ Connect and terminate network cables for newly installed access points.
• ➡️ Remove existing network switches from server racks and install new switches.
• ➡️ Rack mount and de-rack networking equipment following industry best practices.
• ➡️ Coordinate with the remote LAN/WAN team to integrate and configure network switches.
• ➡️ Provide console access, perform switch reboot activities, and support deployment tasks as required.
• ➡️ Ensure proper cable management and follow onsite installation and safety procedures.
• ➡️ Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues during implementation.
• ➡️ Work efficiently in server room and data center environments while maintaining project standards.

Requirements

1. Certified Network Engineer or equivalent technical certification.
2. Hands-on experience in server room/data center environments.
3. Experience with network switch installation and replacement.
4. Strong knowledge of rack mounting, de-racking, and structured cabling.
5. Experience working with SFP ports and enterprise network connectivity.
6. Ability to coordinate effectively with remote technical teams.
7. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. Fluency in English and the local language (Mandatory).
