IT Support Specialist (Manufacturing Environment) _ Switzerland

BCIC Swiss | Best Connect International Company is looking for a Backfill, On-site "IT Support Specialist (Manufacturing Environment)" in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• ➡️ Provide end-user IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues
• ➡️ Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• ➡️ Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, MFA, mobile devices (Android & iOS)
• ➡️ Guide users with step-by-step troubleshooting and application setup
• ➡️ Perform remote troubleshooting and resolve technical incidents efficiently
• ➡️ Log and track all incidents, root causes, and resolutions in ServiceNow
• ➡️ Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 support or development teams
• ➡️ Manage and prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
• ➡️ Maintain IT support for approximately 300 users across office and shop floor
• ➡️ Ensure proper documentation and follow-up until issue closure
• ➡️ Support ERP (SAP), MES (GFOS), and Document Management System (DOXIS)
• ➡️ Assist manufacturing facility users with IT-related issues
• ➡️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
• ➡️ Maintain clear communication with both office and production staff

Requirements

1. 10+ years of IT Support / Service Desk experience
2. Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10 & 11)
3. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, MFA, and enterprise applications
4. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
5. Familiarity with SAP (ERP), GFOS (MES), and DOXIS (DMS) preferred
6. Experience supporting users in manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
7. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
9. German (Mandatory – fluent)
10. English (Professional proficiency required)
