BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a (Full time  | on-site) "Hardware Support Technician" in Italy.

Responsibilities

  • ➡️ Provide hardware break fix support, typically by whole unit swap
  • ➡️ Manage spares provided on site
  • ➡️ Provide deskside support, as described
  • ➡️ Execute installations and changes
  • ➡️ Deliver an excellent level of customer service
  • ➡️ Adhere to defined Processes and work instructions which will include the management of both proactive and
  • ➡️ reactive escalations
  • ➡️ Interface with multiple levels of end users, management, ‘VIPs’ and local technical staff.
  • ➡️ Troubleshoot issues on multiple computer platforms: Macintosh, Windows, Linux, and mobile devices
  • ➡️ Knowledge of network configurations: LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, and VLAN
  • ➡️ Responsible for asset tagging and entering all incoming equipment into our asset management system
  • ➡️ Provide weekly reports on physical inventory counts as well as record weekly outflows of hardware equipment
  • ➡️ Work with external Suppliers to schedule repairs for damaged/malfunctioning hardware

Requirements

  1. Must hold a valid work permit in Italy
  2. Several years of experience in the IT field
  3. Fluent in English and Italian
