Field Installation Technician / IT Deployment Technician

Description

BCIC Swiss GmbH is looking for a Field Installation Technician / IT Deployment Technician to support onsite deployment activities in Germany.

Responsibilities

• ➡️ ➡️ Install AdvanSafe ceiling-mounted readers in entrance areas (3–6 devices per store)
• ➡️ ➡️ Install AdvanPay readers at checkout desks
• ➡️ ➡️ Install approximately 22 AdvanTrack devices per store during a 4-night deployment schedule
• ➡️ ➡️ Perform installations at 3–6 metre heights using ladders or scaffolding where required
• ➡️ ➡️ Use PoE extenders where needed and follow store floor plans
• ➡️ ➡️ Basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices, and Telecom

Requirements

1. Previous field installation / IT deployment experience
2. Comfortable working at heights
3. Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
4. Valid permit to work in Germany
